The Point of Parliament

A.P. Herbert

Uncle Haddock sets out to tell his nephew and niece some things about Parliament. Originally published in Punch magazine, under the title ‘Not So Silly: A Child’s Guide to Parliament’. Slim hardback in brown cloth, pp111, with an Appendix containing Sir Alan Herbert’s second Election Address.
VG (offsetting from bookseller’s label on flyleaf; small brown mark to half-title verso and page 1, otherwise extremely clean); in Good dustjacket (price-clipped, and many snall holes and tears to both flap folds; small loss at head/tail of spine – superficially quite smart, however)
Methuen, 1946
